Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

Shipping Policies for Perishable Shipments

Your signature is required for delivery because the product is perishable and high value. If you miss signing for the package, and/or get an attempted delivery notice, please call 1-800-GO-FEDEX (1-800-463-3339) to get the address of the location where your box is being held for your signature. Due to the perishable nature of the product, we strongly encourage you to contact FedEx to locate the closest location for pickup on the day that the delivery was expected or attempted. In some cases, a Saturday pickup at a FedEx station that serves your delivery address may be possible. Please refer to your tracking number that was emailed via FedEx at Wholesome Harvest's request, and/or the Door Tag# provided with your attempted delivery notice when contacting FedEx to arrange for pick-up or re-delivery.

If you work away from home, please have the product shipped to your daytime office address. If you choose to have it shipped to an alternate/daytime address, please select this option on the checkout page.

Packaging & Shipping Materials

We individually hand pack each order we ship out to our wonderful customers. We ship out to the United States using FedEx Overnight or 2-Day Service. All of our products are shipped FROZEN with dry ice. Due to the higher temperatures experienced across the country during July and August, 2-Day Service is not available during this period.

To ensure quality, our products are shipped in specially-designed, insulated coolers that provide protection during shipping and also help maintain the proper meat temperature. Dry ice is designed to melt during shipment and will be evaporated upon delivery with 2-day service.

When you receive your product, remove it from the shipping cooler and place it in your freezer to use at a later time, or place it in your refrigerator to thaw if you wish to prepare it.

Delivery Information to Note

We ship our products each Wednesday. Orders received by 9 AM CST on Tuesday will be shipped Wednesday. Orders placed after 9 AM CST on Tuesday will be shipped the following Wednesday. FedEx only delivers Overnight Serivce on Thursday and 2-Day Service on Friday.

Selecting overnight delivery from FedEx is recommended, however, in certain areas, overnight delivery is not available and 2-day delivery is the only option. So, therefore, if you select overnight, and are only given 2-day delivery as an option you know it is because of your region/zip code. Dry ice is designed to melt during shipment and will be evaporated upon delivery with 2-day service. The product will be cold and ready to thaw and eat or freeze for later.

WHOLESOMEHARVEST.COM is a small farmer coalition that does not have the resources to accept returns for spoiled shipments due to consumer error. Organic meat shipments are shipped frozen with 1st-day service and 2nd-day service depending on season. WHOLESOMEHARVEST.COM is not responsible for shipments left unattended at the customer's residence due to forgetfulness, vacation, busy schedule, or any other reason, and by entering this website you hereby release the Company and its affiliates from any liability with respect to such unattended shipments. If you are going to be away, please arrange for a friend to pick up your package. Customers are encouraged to have meat shipped directly to their business address or address where someone is always available to receive shipments. Signature is required and customer accepts loss if they don't sign and meat perishes.

WHOLESOMEHARVEST.COM ships out orders once a week on Wednesdays ONLY.
The customer agrees that the order cutoff deadline is 9 AM CST Tuesday for a shipment to go out on that Wednesday.
The customer agrees that any order placed after 9 AM CST Tuesday will be shipped out Wednesday of the following week.

Billing Policy for Random Weight Product

For all product that is random weight, you will pay the actual price/lb for the amount of meat shipped. The case estimate listed is an average figure for this product to give you an idea what to expect and is the estimated weight used to preauthorize your credit card prior to shipment. An adjustment (either credit or additional charge) will be made to your credit card to reflect the actual weight of product shipped.

Proprietary Rights

You acknowledge that WHOLESOMEHARVEST.COM contains information, data, software, photographs, graphs, videos, typefaces, graphics, music, sounds, and other material (collectively "Content") that are protected by copyrights, trademarks, or other proprietary rights, and that these rights are valid and protected in all forms, media and technologies existing now or hereinafter developed. All Content is copyrighted as a collective work under the U.S. copyright laws, and the Company owns a copyright in the selection, coordination, arrangement, and enhancement of such Content. You may not modify, remove, delete, augment, add to, publish, transmit, participate in the transfer or sale of, create derivative works from, or in any way exploit any of the Content, in whole or in part. WHOLESOMEHARVEST.COM is controlled by the Company from its offices within the United States of America. The Company makes no representation that Content in the site are appropriate or available for use in other locations, and access to them from territories where their content is illegal is prohibited. Those who choose to access this site from other locations do so on their own initiative and are responsible for compliance with applicable local laws. You may not use or export the Content in violation of U.S. export laws and regulations.
