Wholesome Harvest and Environmental Advantage

Environmental Advantages

Stir Fry

Raising organic certified animals on pasture can be far better for the environment than feedlot or confinement factories. We grow our meat using rotational pasture based systems. The animals are raised in ultra low density small farms.

Instead of the growth model, we use the cooperation model. We forsake the factory/industrialization model of agriculture in an effort to grow a more nutritious product that allows us to tread lightly on the earth and respect our animals.

Our animal feed is 100% organic certified without pesticides or GMO seeds. About 80% of the USA's acres of row crops are planted in for animal feed. The more organic meat that is sold, the more crop acres that will be farmed organically without pesticides and other chemicals that could potentially run off into the water supply. Also, fewer high concentration confinement animal facilities will result in less antibiotics and manure runoff problems that threaten our water supply.

Please think of the hidden costs of industrial agriculture in the form of environmental clean up costs and healthcare costs that us taxpayers pay for. Please vote with your wallet for a cleaner environment and buy organic certified meat.
